Read Reinee Dress Sizes: US, UK, EU and Letter Labels
Use Reinee’s own size chart and the exact product page together when reading US, UK, EU or letter-size labels. The chart translates our standard labels into body measurements; the product page identifies the dress and its available options. A description that mentions S–M does not necessarily mean both sizes remain in stock. Start with the Reinee Size Guide, then open the specific design in our Ready to Ship Limited Edition Dresses | One Piece Per Style in Stock.
Keep three pieces of information separate
- The label: a name such as M, US 6 or EU 38.
- The listed body measurements: the bust, waist, hips and other dimensions used to assess that size.
- The available option: the variant that can currently be selected or confirmed for the exact product.
None of these is a substitute for the others. A familiar size name does not guarantee the right measurements, and a measurement range in a description does not prove that several individual pieces are available. Check all three before choosing a ready-to-ship dress.
A small example from Reinee’s chart
| Reinee letter label | US | UK/AU | EU/FR | Bust / waist / hips in cm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 4 | 8 | 36 | 86 / 68 / 94 |
| M | 6 | 10 | 38 | 90 / 72 / 98 |
| XL | 10 | 14 | 42 | 98 / 80 / 106 |
These are examples from Reinee’s chart, not universal conversions for every dress brand. Use the current full chart for the other sizes and inch measurements. If a specific product lists different body measurements or a broader label range, ask the team to resolve that difference for the piece you intend to order.
Example one: a single M option
The Ice Blue Sequin Square Neck Corset Prom Dress lists M with the equivalents US 6, UK 10, EU 38 and AU 10. M was the available variant when we checked the catalog on October 30, 2026. This is a square-neck, full-length embellished gown, so the size decision also needs to account for its bodice, shoulder straps and finished length.
Compare your actual measurements with the current product information and chart, then ask about any unresolved fit point. The numerical equivalent helps you read the label; it does not establish that the straps, torso length or hem will suit every wearer with those three circumference measurements.
Example two: the description mentions S–M, but availability is narrower
The Champagne Crystal Beaded Corset Mermaid Gown describes S and M label equivalents. When we checked the catalog on October 30, 2026, S was available and M was unavailable. That makes the current selector important: a description can explain a size range even when only one option is presently offered.
If you need M, do not order S because the prose also mentions M. Ask the team to confirm the exact available piece and its measurements. The gown’s fitted mermaid construction and sweeping hem remain the same design questions regardless of which size label you use.
Example three: an XS–S description needs a precise follow-up
The Black One-Shoulder Beaded Cutout Mini Dress includes an XS–S range in its description, with XS itself described across more than one numerical label. XS was the available variant when we checked the catalog on October 30, 2026; S was unavailable. Treat that as a reason to confirm the piece’s body measurements rather than assume that the garment automatically adjusts between two sizes.
Its one-shoulder bodice, waist cutout and asymmetric skirt also need their own fit assessment. A label cannot tell you the position of a cutout or the shortest point of the hem on your body.
What if your measurements do not line up with one row?
Send the team all relevant measurements together. Do not choose from the waist alone, reduce a measurement to match a preferred label, or assume that sizing up resolves every proportion. Our How to Take Your Measurements for a Custom-Made Evening Gown explains how to take the measurements consistently; our How Should a Corset Evening Gown Fit? Support, Sizing and Silhouette Guide covers the separate questions of bodice fit and support.
For ready-to-ship dresses, only the stated available options can be ordered, and custom measurements or design alterations are not available. If those fixed measurements do not suit you, discuss an eligible made-to-order design from Corset Dresses instead of treating a stocked gown as a customization project.
Send an exact sizing question
Open the product you want and use its Order via WhatsApp button. Include the product name, the variant you can see, your bust/waist/hip measurements and any arm or length question relevant to the design. Recheck availability at that time. “Does this exact piece suit these measurements?” gives the team a clearer question than “I usually wear medium.”
